Cheryl Neher Brandon
            Artist Biography

A Native of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Cheryl Neher spent her early years going to college majoring in Art at Southwestern University and working odd jobs. She entered several art shows competing with her sculptor professors, taking second place each time, The professors taking First.

In 1974 Cheryl got married, dropped out of college and went to work as a pattern maker, making bias relief sculptors for A.R.K. Ramos, a sign company and foundry in Okla. City. She raised a family and settled down as a homemaker and horse trainer (her second love). Once the family was grown and gone, Cheryl moved to Arizona in 1996, and went back to college earning her BFA at ASU, graduating sume cum laude in 2001. Since then she has attended Classes at the Scottsdale Artist School, studying under Susanne Henningson as well as workshops with renowned artists, such as Tuck Langlin and Paul Lucchesi.
